I'm guessing if you read this you already familiar with a basic Teamspeak 3
setup.
But if you not, then lets just start at the beginning....
First of all download Teamspeak 3
and install it.
You need an IP address example =[VAH]= Ip address : vah.teamspeak3.com
1.)Run your TS3. At the main screen choose Bookmarks menu, a new window will pop and and from here choose Add Bookmark.
2.)Input the IP address(vah.teamspeak3.com) to the Address field,
3.)If server requires a password then input password to Server Password field,
4.)Name the server at the Label field for your future reference,
This is your basic setup to connect to TS3 servers, just make sure you add the data to the required fields.
By now you should be able to chat to your friends on Teamspeak 3
Now let say you met new guys, they pplay different games and you would like to join they Teamspeak 3
as well, but also you would like to stay with your old buddies as well. This is what you need to do in order to be signed in to 2 Teamspeak 3
servers simultaneously.
1.)Add a new Teamspeak 3 server buy following the above steps from 1 to 4.
2.)Go to your Settings menu at Teamspeak 3 and choose Option menu,
3.)at the new window click Application and tick the box next to Activate microphone automatically when switching servers,
4.)now choose Hotkeys at the same window,
5.)click Add and a new window will pop up,
6.)at the "search field" type in SELECT SERVER and click on Show Advanced Actions,
7.)in the window you will have Select Server Tab appear. Expand that and choose Select Server Tab again. You will have the names of the servers you added to the bookmarks appear there.
8)double click on your first server you want to assign a hotkey and choose a key that is not assigned to anything In-Game ( I'm using Left ALT and Right ALT keys to switch between servers) and choose On Key Down or On Key Up options
9.)repeat option 8 for you second server (in my case ATR's) and by double clicking the server name assign another key to this server.
example:
I choose On Key Up - Left ALT(up) for =[VAH]= server. This means that every time i release the Left ALT button =[VAH]= server will automatically becomes the active server I'm participating in. And for ATR's server i have On Key Up Right ALT(up) assigned, this means that every time i release the Right ALT button ATR's server will automatically becomes the active server I'm participating in.
10.) Press APPLY before you close the window!
Hope this helps
